Drivers to lose their licence on the spot if they fail eye test
DRIVERS pulled over by police who fail roadside eye tests will be stopped from driving.
Spot checks will aim to identify motorists who cannot read a number plate 20 metres away.
Those who fail the test will not be allowed to carry on.
The scheme in Thames Valley,West Midlands andHampshire is taking place this month.
