LUCKNOW: The Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court on Monday admitted public interest litigation seeking CBI probe in the Lakhimpur minor death case.
Sonam, a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered at Nidhasan police station in Lakhimpur Kheri district on Friday, June 10th.The victim's family has accused eight policemen of the crime.
The case will be heard on June 18. The Mayawati government has ordered a CB-CID probe into the case and suspended 11 policemen of Nidhasan police station.
