Gujarat Registration of Marriages Act,
2006 No.GP / 1of 2008 / LNK-102006/924/Y :- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Gujarat Registration of Marriages Act, 2006 (Guj.Act 16 of 2006) (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), the Government of Gujarat hereby appoints the 1st January,2008 as the date on which the remaining provisions of the said Act shall come into force.

2006 No.GP / 4 of 2008 / LNK-102006/302( Part-III )(2)/Y :- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Gujarat Registration of Marriages Act,2006 (Guj.Act 16 of 2006), the Government of Gujarat hereby appoints the officers shown in column 2 of the Scheduled appended to this Order as Registrar of Marriages for the area shown in Column 3 of the said Schedule for the purposes of the said Act, namely :
